FED4 burns ~6-7mA of power during LightSleep (this is the default sleep state we use, as DeepSleep is too laggy to reboot the device every time in real world use). Default behavior wakes the device every 7s to check the motion sensor, this can be modified.

With a 4400mAh battery FED4 should last ~30 days in standby, with actual runtime dependent on the behavioral task, how often the pellet dispenser motor is actuated, etc.

Note: If you set fed4.sleepyLEDs = false (to keep LEDs on during lightSleep) it will burn an extra ~2-3mA. See power consumption during lightSleep with left poke LEDs on at level 10:
