Updated the template to (almost) work.

It seems that the plugin does not support relative path, and I didn't find how to insert the absolute path via cargo-generate.

I just went through the same exact steps to get the template to work. I was going to contribute back and found @dyuri already had. Great work!

Friends, I very much appreciate the efforts on this but I'd rather postpone any changes to the plugin templates or documentation until the system is more stable. As per the disclaimer at the top of the plugin documentation.

There are likely to be much more changes and breaking changes in the near future and I'd rather keep things in an "as-is" state for now. This (and some tech-debt leading up to this) is what I'm working on now. Thank you for your patience!
