Hi Team,
We would like to propose enabling CI support for the ppc64le (IBM Power) architecture in this repository as part of a broader effort to improve cross-platform compatibility within the scientific Python ecosystem.
We are currently working on enabling ppc64le support for TensorFlow, grpc and rules_python. During this process, we identified pyyaml as one of the key dependencies, and therefore we are hoping to add ppc64le support here as well.
This can be integrated in the same way as the existing s390x platform.
