Install

VS Code Marketplace

Search for "CodeType" in the Extensions view and click Install, or visit the VS Code Marketplace.

Command Line

code --install-extension thisisnsh.codetype

Play

1. Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P)
2. Run CodeType: Play Game
3. Choose Solo or Team mode
4. Type the code snippet and improve your WPM and accuracy

Scoring

Metric	Calculation
WPM	Characters typed ÷ 5 ÷ minutes elapsed
Accuracy	Correct keystrokes ÷ total keystrokes
