IN his CD "ORCHESTRAL EXCERPTS for TUBA: with spoken commentary", longtime Principal Tubist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Gene Pokorny¹ introduces,

IN his book the seven habits of highly effective people,
author Stephen Covey points out many people climb the ladder of success,
progressing higher and higher only to reach that top rung,
and then realize the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall.
In other words,
the most important factor defining success in a person's personal or professional life may have gotten lost in the whole picture.

Now largely paraphrasing, IN this README.md, absurdist matthew forrester wolffe, asserts that,

[s]uccess in terms of playing any [keyboard], whether you are interested in [frontend, backend, systems, or cyber],
whether you are a professional, student, hobbyist, [or lobbyist],
[compiles] down to one simple, definable entity.
That entity is the [sound and tactile feedback of your keyboard]².
If you have chosen to [play the keyboard] without the most important reason being that you enjoy the sound [and feeling of the tactile feedback of your keyboard],
then you may want to reevaluate while you’re playing the [keyboard] in the first place.
...Your ladder may be leaning against the wrong wall.
