The config.py script now reads core-site.xml first to get the fs.defaultFS property value and uses that to only read the appropriate namenodes for the defined namespace.
If fs.defaultFS is not a namespace but a namenode url, this is used unless overridden by other namenodes in hdfs-site.xml
