Ongoing demos at Sovereign Engineering beyond SEC
WIP: just as SEC-01 started as an experiment, this also is one, we don't have a process dialled yet for how this goes, but we'll get there; solvitur ambulando
SEC is a world, a bubble in itself. A turing complete set of emotions. It takes the participants on an adventure which unfortunately, just like everything else comes to an end. But, you know, once you've been in one, you want it to continue. You want to live in that world, on that adventure. And so, here it is, the begginings of the continuation of the adventure that is SEC. We don't know the ship we'll sail on or how we'll navigate, but we all want to keep playing i.e. demoing. The alumni know, that remote demos while at SEC are a sacrilage, we need the juices to keep flowing. So, while we are all away hacking on our side quests, we shall share and gather regularly to demo together even if remotely, keep the ship a'sailing as they say..
So, here's the idea:
- At regular intervals we shall gather in cyberspace to quench our thirst for The Demos, biweekly sounds like regular enough?
- We shall have limited slots and as much as i'd like it to be 21; 6+2 mins/demo is almost 3 hours. No! 7 feels like a good number?
- 1hr of demos and then just like the BBQs, we keep the room open for conversations.
- After every such meet, we open the slots for the next remote demo for which any alumni can volunteer. So far the suggestions have been whoever zaps soveng most get to the top of the list - suggestions welcome.
Until we have ironed these sails for the open seas, please use this repo to post links to your demos and open PRs or issues, we shall arrive at a workable tradeoff distributedly.
NOTE: Anyone who brings poncah to these demos automatically gets zapped!
