AI coding assistant configuration for Sling - the data integration CLI for moving data between 40+ databases, file systems, and APIs.

AGENTS.md is the single source of truth. Other files are symlinks.

Claude Code Plugin

Installation

From Marketplace (recommended):

# 1. Add the marketplace
/plugin marketplace add slingdata-io/slingdata-ai

# 2. Install the plugin
/plugin install sling@slingdata-ai

Or use the interactive UI:

/plugin
# Navigate to "Marketplaces" tab → Add → slingdata-io/slingdata-ai
# Then "Discover" tab → Install sling

For local development:

claude --plugin-dir /path/to/slingdata-ai

Updating

# Refresh marketplace and update plugin
/plugin marketplace update slingdata-ai

Requirements

• Sling CLI v1.5.0+
• Claude Code

Quick Start

1. Install the Sling CLI:

   # macOS
   brew install slingdata-io/sling/sling
   
   # or download from https://github.com/slingdata-io/sling-cli/releases

2. Configure a connection:

   sling conns set MY_POSTGRES type=postgres host=localhost user=postgres database=mydb

3. Use the plugin:

   /sling:conns list
   /sling:conns test MY_POSTGRES
