Hello World

Sinix is a desktop application that provides an environment to play HTML5 games while also being a distribution platform for the same. The main goal of this project is to provide a dedicated platform to HTML5 games, powered by JavaScript Game Engines.

It comes with an optional android on-screen joystick support, i.e. Sinix Remote. This can be a lot useful when playing an offline multiplayer game. Eventually, Sinix will be able to respond to all the available sensors of the smartphone. Once tauri-mobile rolls out, Sinix Android may start supporting all the available games on Sinix Store.

Challenges

Our major concern is the response-time when communicating from Sinix Remote to Sinix Desktop. Currently, we are using WebSockets to communicate between the game and joystick and it's so far okayish but there is a space for improvement.
