Welcome to the Maglev wiki!
The purpose of Maglev is to integrate Magnolia CMS with Grails. The reason being that the well known ease and speed of developing in Grails coupled with the rich feature set of Magnolia makes for a match made in heaven. The technology used to do the integrations is a great module from Magnolia called Magnolia Blossom Module that provides excellent Spring-support to Magnolia. In general this works like a quicker way of getting started on a new projects working like you normally do in Blossom but with some grails-specific benefits like being able to completely redefine a paragraph controller and have it update runtime, and a lot of the fancy tricks that grails provide you with.
##New version! We now support the newly released Magnolia 4.5.2 which means all new templating and...well all new most of everything. This means we have moved up to Magnolia Blossom 2.0 and you probably need to read up. Browse the code of Maglev to find some simple examples of Areas and Components and pages.
Bear in mind that this wiki, like the project, is very much in beta and a work in progress. Things will be added as we go along.

Magnolia requires the use of path ".resources" that the plugin grails-resources uses as well. So you need to remove that dependency by removing the line compile ":resources:1.1.5" in BuildConfig.groovy
In general it hasn't been tested with all that many plugins yet so be prepared that it might not work...perfectly if you add some fancy plugin that modifies the webdescriptor(web.xml).
