Personally tested on my Denon receiver.

My remote transmits codes 945 and 946.
Curiously I didn't find those codes in any Denon technical manual.
Denon documents codes 950 and 951, and those work on my receiver as well.

Just FYI, this is my collection of Denon AVC/AVR commands, all verified on my device (X4800).

Off topic, but: I upgraded to a X3800H, in my old Denon the code 693 showed the list of inputs in the OSD and the user could pick one, unfortunately this no longer works on this new model. I checked many code lists and I could not find a replacement apart from codes 787-788 (next/previous input) which is not really a replacement. Apparently Denon only has discretes now, there's no generic input switch command that shows all inputs on the OSD (in the same way you can see surround modes, for example).

There are non-unique names. For programs that indexes the command using the name (IrScrutinizer is one such), only one command per name can be used, which one is not defined (probably the last one).

(We should probably move this conversation elsewhere.)

I think you misunderstood. It was not a mention regarding your codes (I have many Denon technical manuals so they're all known to me), I was just asking if by any chance you stumbled upon any code that display the inputs in the OSD in your receiver. I tried any promising codes from the literature I have access to, no avail. I double checked your codes and there's nothing there as well. I guess the functionality just doesn't exist in newer AVRs?

No, I did not misunderstand. I "reviewed" the patch and pointed out a problem with it, I did not address your question.

I'll do that now: My X4800 does not react to 693 either. Personally, I can do without.

Next off-topic: The signal Denon D=12,F=223 changes brightness of the display. I use and like this command. Do you know of a Denon-K version of that command? (That is the only useful "Denon" command that I do not know the Denon-K equivalent of.)

Ah, OK, now I understood. However, this is not new to this patch. There are many commands in the Denon files (many of them I contributed myself) that have duplicated names, as Denon have many duplicated codes for the exact same functions. I suppose that newer equipment accepts all of them, very old equipment may only be aware of some subset.

If there's an effort to de-duplicate them, I suppose we need something like a [F=XX] suffix so they show up with different names and the user has a hint that there's another code with the same function that they could try...

I'll do that now: My X4800 does not react to 693 either. Personally, I can do without.

Yeah, obviously discretes are more useful but when doing ad-hoc stuff I miss that button that worked in the AVR-1911 that showed all inputs in the OSD.

Yes: Denon K, D=4, S=1, F=656.

My JP1 remote is configured with only Kaseikyo codes, I believe that every Sharp code has a Kaseikyo equivalent. At least I don't remember encountering any Sharp code that does not. So if you miss another one, just ask and I can probably find that out for you.

Yess!! It works! Thanx a bunch! Tack så mycket!

Do you happens to know any discrete version (there are four levels, at least on my amp)?

I've never seen any discrete IR code for the dimmer level in any form, just the toggle (which has Sharp and Kaseikyo codes). That said, if you are controlling your Denon via serial/IP then you can set the dimmer level via the DIM command. (I do that via Home Assistant.)
