- Open Eagle and select the
Control Panelwindow. - Choose
Optionsand from the drop down that appears,Directories.
- Change the Libraries line from:
$EAGLEDIR/lbrto something like the following:
$EAGLEDIR/lbr:$HOME/external_lbrs
$EAGLEDIR\lbr;$HOME\external_lbrs
- Change the Documents line from:
$EAGLEDIR/docto something like:
$EAGLEDIR/doc:$HOME/external_lbrs/Datasheets
$EAGLEDIR\doc;$HOME\external_lbrs\Datasheets
- Open Eagle and select the
Control Panelwindow. - Choose
Optionsand from the drop down that appears,Directories. - Change the User Language Programs line from:
$EAGLEDIR/ulpto something like:
$EAGLEDIR/ulp:$HOME/external_lbrs/ULPs
$EAGLEDIR\ulp;$HOME\external_lbrs\ULPs
- Open Eagle and select the
Control Panelwindow. - Choose
Optionsand from the drop down that appears,Directories. - Change the User Language Programs line from:
$EAGLEDIR/scrto something like:
$EAGLEDIR/scr:$HOME/external_lbrs/Scr
$EAGLEDIR\scr;$HOME\external_lbrs\Scr
- Click
OKto save your changes. Eagle will prompt to create the directory if it does not already exist. Note the location and chooseYesto create the directory.
- Open Eagle and select the
Control Panelwindow. - Choose
Optionsand from the drop down that appears,Directories. - Change the User Language Programs line from:
$EAGLEDIR/Druto something like:
$EAGLEDIR/dru:$HOME/external_lbrs/Dru
$EAGLEDIR\dru;$HOME\external_lbrs\Dru
- Click
OKto save your changes. Eagle will prompt to create the directory if it does not already exist. Note the location and chooseYesto create the directory.
`$HOME/external_lbrs` changes to: /Users/[USERNAME]/external_lbrs
where [USERNAME] is the login name
`$HOME\external_lbrs` changes to: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\external_lbrs
where [USERNAME] is the login name
- Find and open the
external_lbrsfolder. Unzip and dragadafruit.and 'pacav69' libraries' into the newexternal_lbrsfolder. - Restart Eagle. The library should be now be usable.
- Use the Eagle Cad control panel to browse libraries.

For datasheets you can use a search engine such as google, yahoo or whatever you use to find using the manufacturers part number. You can also goto the manfacturers website to find the datasheet.
