I added a separate lockfile to track the dependencies necessary to build all of the documentation. This removes a bunch of dependencies that aren't necessary to run the software from the default installation requirements, so there are less opportunities for installation to fail. I also updated install instructions to reflect the required Python version being >= 3.11.
