Point Preprocessing

Points generated by the mouse can be preprocessed prior to insertion into the editor. This is currently implemented by the Point Preprocessor Menu item and the slider button at the bottom of the canvas page.
Use cases for this include.
- custom snapping to a grid
- custom snapping to a line or curve
- creating guides
- generating a reflected set of points (through a given axis or radially through a point)
- coordinate conversions (?)
