Previously I thought that geopandas automatically used the OBJECTID field as the index, but that doesn't seem to be the case. geopandas simply does not read the OBJECTID field for some reason...
Automatically determine the absolute path from the relative path and use the absolute path to prevent error when the resource file is located in the current working directory.

It is sometimes useful to preserve the in-line outputs of a notebook, however we want to omit these from the version-controlled ipynb file to allow for smaller files and clearer diffs. One solution is to capture the outputs in an HTML export of the notebook. morpc.save_notebook( ) and morpc.notebook_to_html( ) attempt to do this automatically. This feature is experimental as of this commit and is unreliable.
