The version is being changed from "2.0.5-beta.{height}" to "2.0.6-preview.{height}", which changes both the version number and the prerelease label from "beta" to "preview". This differs from the other two version.json files in the PR which both change from "2.0.5-preview.{height}" to "2.0.6-preview.{height}". Please verify this is intentional, as it may indicate an inconsistency in the previous versioning scheme.
Latest released version is 2.0.5. Additional developments on it should be pushed to version 2.0.6-preview which will eventually be a part of the 2.0.6 release.
