Interview Preparation Structure

Core Question Categories

  1. "Tell Me About Yourself"
  2. CI/CD & GitOps - Azure DevOps, GitHub, ArgoCD stories
  3. Kubernetes & Platform Ownership - AKS/GKE, production incidents
  4. Cloud Platforms - Azure/AWS hybrid environments
  5. Migrations - GitHub → Azure DevOps, source control transitions
  6. Artifact Management - JFrog/Nexus/GitLab workflows
  7. PowerShell & Automation - Platform onboarding, operational scripts
  8. Observability & On-call - Monitoring, L3 support, incident response
  9. Compliance & Security - Regulated environments, HIPAA/SOC2
  10. Behavioral - Team collaboration, conflict, decision-making

Humana Round 2 Focus Areas

For the Humana 2nd round, expect deeper questions in these areas:

  • Azure DevOps agent pools – operational aspects, reliability, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Automation with PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform – agent maintenance and infrastructure as code.
  • Troubleshooting CI/CD and platform reliability – pipeline stability, observability, and incident handling.
  • Containers & Kubernetes (AKS and GKE) – real projects, production incidents, and lessons learned.

Map your answers to existing story files:

  • Agent pools, CI/CD reliability → star-stories/ci-cd-gitops.md, star-stories/observability-oncall.md
  • PowerShell/Ansible/Terraform → star-stories/powershell-automation.md
  • AKS & GKE → star-stories/kubernetes-platform.md
