Clients speak to the webview via JSON over stdin and stdout. Given that, it would be useful to be able to insert a middleman between the client and webview to export all the messages coming and going. This could be used for debugging and testing. My ultimate goal here is to make some sort of automatic assertion tests where I can record the interactions for the examples and then expect that the clients replicate that behavior.
