Getting Started

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/jeffelin/resume_to_website.git
   cd resume_to_website

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install

3. Set up environment variables:

   • Copy .env.example to .env and fill in your OpenAI API key.

4. Run the backend server:

   node server.js

   This will start the backend API server on http://localhost:3001.

5. Run the frontend development server: In a new terminal window/tab, run:

   npm run dev

   This will start the frontend on http://localhost:5173.

6. Open your browser:

   • Visit http://localhost:5173 to use the app.
