Our project was presented at the New York Junior Academy of Sciences (NYAS Junior Academy), where we earned first place out of 142 teams in the Cognitive Challenges category. The project is sponsored by NEOM, and we are currently pursuing opportunities for integration.
A demo video showcasing real-time functionality is available as part of our presentation materials. We continue to develop the project, and you can view our presentation slides here:

Education is facing a global crisis. According to UN estimates, over 250 million children worldwide lack access to quality education. Even among those enrolled, many lack adequate resources.
Several factors contribute to this challenge, including:
- Extreme poverty
- Insufficient infrastructure and teaching resources
- Child labor and social discrimination
- Diverse learner strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles
For example, in rural India, nearly three-quarters of third graders struggle with basic two-digit subtraction (World Bank Research). Traditional, one-size-fits-all teaching methods fall short of addressing these challenges.
Research indicates that among the general population, approximately 65% of learners are visual, 30% auditory, and 5% kinesthetic (NIH US Government Survey), underscoring the need for personalized education approaches.
We have designed an AI-powered educational application to revolutionize learning for both teachers and students.

-
Personalized Curriculum:
AI analyzes student profiles—including test scores, attentiveness, and attendance—to generate tailored teaching plans that address learning styles, disabilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Students can be grouped accordingly for a more cohesive learning environment. -
Student Attention and Attendance Tracking:
Using computer vision, the system monitors attendance and attention spans in real-time, assisting teachers in identifying students needing additional support. -
Assessment Analysis:
Provides detailed insights on student performance to help teachers adapt curricula and offer targeted feedback. -
3D Models and AR/VR Simulations:
Enables interactive teaching tools that can be accessed both in-class and remotely to enhance engagement and understanding.
-
Personalized Learning Experience:
The system identifies each student's preferred learning style (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or mixed) through their interactions and recommends tailored exercises and resources. -
Assessment and Feedback:
Quizzes and feedback mechanisms evaluate student knowledge and progress to personalize learning paths. -
Accessibility and Inclusivity:
Supports students with learning disabilities through visualized content and immersive AR/VR experiences such as virtual science labs. -
Anonymous Doubt Resolution:
Enables students to ask questions anonymously in real-time. Queries are first addressed by AI, then by peers, and finally by teachers if needed—ensuring a judgment-free learning environment.
