To start the game, press the start button on the post with the level you want to play. A title screen will show up. To start the level, press the green start button. A count down will ensue. A clock in the upper left corner shows how much time you have left. Just below that there's a box with the current word you need to spell. In the center you have your chess board, each tile has a letter. You can move the knight chess piece in L shapes around the board. Spaces you can move to are marked with darkened circles. Words are hidden and must be found within the board. When you correctly move the chess piece to spell a word, sound will chime and the next word will display above. If you need a hint, press the light bulb button to see the tile you should move to next. To skip a word and spell it later, press the fast forward button. To end the game early, press the stop sign button. Using hints and skips will take away points. Once a player finds all the words the game is over and a score is displayed.
