This idea aims at easing the life of a cultivator from his pre-production to post-production and marketing strategies. It consists of many modules viz. to find some best places to get the required seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, government policies, etc.
One of the most highlighting feature of this project is the crop Simulation. A farmer is empowered to check his yield varying the crops depending on the rainfall, soil moisture and temperature of his particular region. He can alter the crops in a virtual environment and get an estimate of the approximated yield for that crop in those circumstances. The data set is obtained through LSTM of a 4 year yield data set also modified to consider various other features as well and then applying polynomial regression (One of the most important feature of soil fertility was not applicable due to unavailability of sufficient data)
Lastly, the farmer can also check for the disease prone crops by simply clicking an image of the same. He should click and upload the image of his crop susceptible to a disease and an image processing algorithm is implemented to check for the possibility of a disease. (For as of now only one crop i.e. cotton is available for use)
Firstly of all, the primary motive is to create a strong network of the cultivators beyond their village boundaries and get some good deals for their business. There would be a common ground for the common masses to communicate with the government officials owing to the open forum. Current trends and allowances made available would be made public and maximum use can be ensured.
It will also help the farmers to choose a crop for a particular year. He can compare between the estimated yield he can get based on some environmental conditions. He will also would be in a better position to identify and create a early prevention of the affected crops.
