AdVeil browser extension is designed for cricket fans who stream matches on JioHotstar. It lets you focus fully on the game by automatically muting and blurring ad breaks, providing a cleaner, more enjoyable cricket experience. You can change the blur intensity via the extension's popup panel in the toolbar. All settings are stored locally in the browser, ensuring your preferences persist across sessions without sending any data out of your device. AdVeil is built to avoid interference with the actual match content. When advertisements end, AdVeil restores the original audio and video quality, ensuring a smooth transition back to gameplay.

Installation on Mozilla Firefox

Install from Firefox Add-ons (Recommended)

1. Go to AdVeil's Firefox Add-ons page: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/adveil
2. Click Add to Firefox.
3. Review the permissions and click Add to confirm.
4. When prompted select Pin extension to toolbar and click OK.
5. AdVeil is now installed.

Install from GitHub Releases

❗ Firefox removes locally loaded add-ons when browser is closed.

1. Download the Extension from the Releases page.
2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder on your computer.

   ⚠️ Do NOT delete this extracted folder after installation, browser loads the extension from here.

3. Paste the following url in browser's search bar and press enter: about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
4. Click Load Temporary Add-on.
5. Select the manifest.json file inside the extracted folder.
6. AdVeil is now installed. Pin it to the toolbar for quick access.

Installation on Microsoft Edge

Install from Edge Add-ons

1. Go to AdVeil's Edge Add-ons page: https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/dgicmgjjncfbpegjabccbkenpkgljcap
2. Click Get.
3. Review the permissions and click Add extension to confirm.
4. AdVeil is now installed. Pin it to the toolbar for quick access.
