Place where Haidong stores his utility scripts:

1. backupBlog.sh
This script does two things: a. it rsyncs the public_html folder on the remote host so you have a local copy; b. it makes a MySQL db backup on the remote host, zip it, and then copy it to the local machine. It makes sure that the database backup is removed after all is done so the backup files do not pile up. It also removes db backup files that are older than 5 days. Make sure id_rsa.pub is copied to the remote host

2. gvimrc and vimrc files
They work on both Windows and Linux. Highlights are:
a. It needs a backup folder so all the ~ files will be saved there;
b. On Linux, GVIM it uses the Deja Vu Sans font. On Windows, it uses Consolas font. The configuration file checks what the operating system and intelligently detectcs which one to pick;

3. linuxSetup.txt
Steps I took to get my Linux Mint 64-bit going on my Lenovo ThinkPad W520

4. overview.htm, overview.xml, sqlserver.htm, and sqlserver.xml
These 4 files are Windows Perfmon data collection template files. They contain useful counters whose data we collect for Windows system overview and performance analysis. The collected data can be fed to PAL that generates nice reports (with graphics and charts) of Windows system overview and bottleneck analysis.
The .htm files are Windows 2003 and earlier, and the .xml are for Windows 2008 and later.
