- Disk import: POST + wait_for_task (10min timeout) - Cloud-init drive: POST + wait_for_task (2min timeout) - Template conversion: POST + wait_for_task (2min timeout) - Boot/cloud-init config: Keep PUT (simple metadata changes) - Disk resize: Keep PUT with retry (no async endpoint) This prevents timeout errors on slow storage operations.
