Usage (windows)

Drag & Drop folders or files over hardlinkcopy.bat to make a copy.

Benefits

• Make instant copy that does not consume any space.

Cons

• It's rare, but possible for special software to change original and linked copy of file at once.
• Shared file properties.
• Filesize reports incorrectly.

How to turn linked file back into normal file

• Save changes to file
• Make copy of file
• Move file out of disk or partition
