…ield This has a couple of purposes: the first is that when you choose an FTx message to respond to, you immediately see if that callsign is or has recently been involved in any QSOs: that call gets highlighted in all lines where it appears. But since you can type into the CALL field, and since we look for the prefix instead of only the whole callsign, the CALL field now functions also as a typeahead search field for callsigns. E.g. if you type only "d" you will highlight at least all the German calls; extending it to "dl" will be a certain subset; "dl6" a smaller subset; and so on. You can also hit esc in this field to clear it (just as esc often closes a search field in other applications, such as an editor or browser).
