TL;DR – 1 week of test-first learning, 100 % free resources, 1 attempt.
- Active recall beats passive reading. Timed quizzes first as a baseline; theory only for wrong answers.
- Small, daily reps. First practice exam, break, second practice exam, then closing with ~30 minutes of reviewing mistakes.
- Solo, but structured. No study groups but disciplined self-testing and note-taking.
| Format | Link | How I Used It |
|---|---|---|
| Video explainers (YouTube) | Network Wizkid, Prabh Nair | First look at the cert |
| Quiz engines | ISC2 CC Quiz, EduSum, CareerEmployer | Quizzes I started with |
| Adaptive course | ISC2 | Filled theory gaps after quizzes, did section reviews where needed |
| Practice exams | LinkedIn Learning, CertPreps | Two full mocks each day |
| Niche extras | Whizlabs, ISACA (different exam but similar topics) | Some extra options (I'd consider them optional) |
| Flashcards | Quizlet (set 779965480) | End-of-day spaced repetition, also part of the final recap. Note that there are some mistakes in it. |
| Notes repo | By cyberfascinate | Part of the final recap as a full review |
- Elapsed time: ~40 minutes (all 100 questions)
- Pace check: Forced myself to slow down to avoid careless misses.
