Welcome to the roomies wiki!
The process should be the following:
- The visitor enters his email address in the "Move In" form on the home page
- The user is presented with a modal to choose their own password or have one generated for them.
- A random secure password is generated if the user opted for this and shown to the new user in a flash notice and sent to the email address he provided along with a confirmation link to be clicked on within 48 hours.
- The user is not prompted to change his password, since the password we generated is secure. The password can be changed if the user chooses to.
- The user clicks on the "build a house" link from their profile page.
- A modal is shown with an empty input field for the user to type in their desired house name.
- The user is directed back to their profile page where they can change the name of the house, add roomies to it, or "kick them out" of the house.
- To add a roomie, the user clicks on "add roomie" in the "change house or add roomies" modal.
- The user types in the email address of the person they wish to add.
- That person receives an invite to join the original user's house, which they can accept or reject.
- The user click on the "edit profile" link from their profile page.
- A modal is shown with an input for the user's name, email address, and password.
- The user is redirected back to their profile page with a success of failure message.
- The user receives automatic rewards when signing in to Roomies (1 point), creating an assignment (2 points) and completing an assignment (3 points).
