A sleeping cat. A sketchbook. A tissue box. A laptop. This is your safe space where you can exist in for a while.

WHITE SPACE DS is a fan game for Nintendo DS inspired by OMORI. It's a personal simulation of the WHITE SPACE: a calm, empty room where you can spend time with a few interactive objects while a gentle melody loops in the background.

This is a homebrew fan game. It is not affiliated with OMORI or OMOCAT in any way and uses entirely original assets.

Running the game

On hardware (Recommended)

For the best experience, load the ROM on a DS/DSi flashcard or modded DSi SD card. Using TWiLight Menu++ to launch the game is recommended.

On emulator

melonDS is the recommended emulator. Set "Software" as the 3D Renderer option to get the expected visual output.

Building from source

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone --recursive https://github.com/cavv-dev/WHITE-SPACE-DS
   cd WHITE-SPACE-DS
   

2. Build the ROM:

   python3 build.py
