A mod to put Minecraft: Xbox One Edition on-par with modern MC graphics features seen in JE mods like Sodium or OptiFine.
Inspired by the popular Java Edition mods, Sodium and OptiFine, Manganese brings many visual QoL features and performance fixes to Minecraft: Xbox One Edition.
Manganese, as of Indev, currently contains small performance tweaks to better run on weaker hardware. Future updates will add more options for higher end hardware.
Public downloads can be found in the Releases page on GitHub.
Nighly downloads can be found in the Actions page on GitHub. These versions will have bugs and issues, be warned.
Manganese requires WinDurango and Lantern.
The easiest way to install Manganese is to use WinDurango UI; download the mod as instructed above, and install with the UI. The hard way is to download the mod as instructed above and move the file to your "Mods" folder in the game's "Mount" folder.
Please use the issue tracker linked at the top of the page if you are experiencing bugs, crashes, or other issues. Be sure to include necessary information like your hardware/software (such as the GPU, CPU, mod version, and OS) to help us identify and resolve issues.
Manganese aims to give QoL improvements to certain visual aspects of the game, and allow for higher end hardware to push the game to its limits. WIP
