Since the aws-sdk gem has been upgraded to v2, this project is no longer usable with the latest version of the aws-sdk gem. I've changed the namespace for this project to match that one used by the aws-sdk-v1 gem which is the one needed now to be able to run the amazon-kinesis-client-library.
To use this project with both v1 and v2 gems, just require your gems like so:
gem 'aws-sdk-v1'
gem 'aws-sdk', '~>2.0'
