Shipments
Shipments have 6 columns at the time of writing this wiki entry, namely:
- Tracking ID
- Courier
- Delivery ETA
- Status
- Mark
- Manage
Tracking ID as named, is the tracking ID of the shipment, tracking IDs are automatically hyperlinked to the shipment/couriers website to track the package. Clicking on the tracking ID opens the tracking page in a new tab/window automatically.
Courier lists the courier used to ship the article/device.
Delivery ETA is the estimated delivery date for the device/article. This has to be set by you manually when adding the shipment into DCIMStack.
Status is the current status of the shipment, this too has to be setup manually for now as we're looking for a external API which can provide tracking status updates for free.
You can mark the item as Delivered or not delivered automatically by clicking on this.
Manage allows you to edit any of the above fields as well as add notes and move the shipment directly into your hardware list from where you can further manage the device/shipment.
