This PR fixes deprecation warnings for event short hands thrown by JQuery Migrate from v3.3.0 (for details see: https://github.com/jquery/jquery-migrate/blob/master/warnings.md#jqmigrate-jqueryfnclick-event-shorthand-is-deprecated).
This PR also removes the variable
headerHeightwhich is declared but never used.
