  I tried hacking with the MaceTech ShiftBrite LED modules, using the demo code.
I didn't have much success hacking with it, because I hadn't worked with C in a while.
The demo code lacked comments, and I lacked suffucicient insight at the time.

  As I've spent isome more time with C, and hacking on the ShiftBrites, I wanted
to make it easier for those looking for working examples. This repository is a
way to put my commented code out on the web for folks to find. Hopefully a few
folks will find this useful, and it will get them playing with blinky lights
much more quickly.
