Users can compile and run TRACMASS using a conda virtual environment using miniconda3 or miniforge3 (preferred) using the gfortran and netcdf-fortran packages available in conda-forge.

  • Updated Makefile to include conda options for ARCH (gfortran) and NETCDFLIBS (nf-config).
  • Added subsection 3.1 to README.md to explain conda installation option for running TRACMASS on local machines & HPCs.
