Symfony 8.0 packages require PHP 8.4 breaking claimed compatibility
The locked Symfony 8.0 packages (symfony/console, symfony/css-selector, symfony/event-dispatcher, symfony/finder, symfony/string, symfony/var-dumper, symfony/yaml) all require "php": ">=8.4", but codeception/lib-asserts 3.1.0 claims to support "php": "^8.2 || ^8.3 || ^8.4 || ^8.5" and codeception/codeception claims "php": "^8.2". This lock file will fail composer install on PHP 8.2 or 8.3 environments, even though the main packages claim to support those versions. Development/testing will only work on PHP 8.4+.
