RSpec has a cool syntax which is the same

subject.protects?("sarah_connor").should_not be_true

When you say "should not be true" --- you allow things like nil to creep in. It might be better to use

subject.protects?("sarah_connor").should be_false

Awesome job! This is definitely the hardest (and most powerful) skill in Ruby to have on your toolbelt. yay!
