This single file validator is provided by CapiTainS, an "informal open-source organization which aims at providing a suite of tools and guidelines for Citable Text API standards" (from the CapiTainS website]. It allows users to test the "content of files." This can be used for barebones compliancy with CapiTainS Suite and Guidelines.
