Steam Inventory CLI

A CLI tool to help you manage your Steam inventory, specifically for selling Counter-Strike 2 items on the Steam market.

Note: This tool is still in development and may not work as expected, I will not provide support for it in any way.

Note: This is only tested on Windows, not on Linux.

Current selling strategy

Limited to items from the Elemental Craft Stickers Collection.

If the price of an item is less than €0.30, it will be sold for €0.01 more.

If the price of an item is between €0.30 and €1.00, it will be sold for 10% more.

If the price of an item is greater than €1.00, it will be sold for 5% more.

Setup

1. Download the latest release from the releases page for your platform.

2. Create a .env file next to the executable and populate it with the appropriate values based on .env.example.

Windows

3. Run the steam-inventory-cli.exe executable from any terminal. See Usage for more information.

Linux

3. Make sure the release file is executable:

   chmod +x steam-inventory-cli

4. Run the steam-inventory-cli executable from any terminal. See Usage for more information.

Usage

To run the CLI:

.\steam-inventory-cli.exe {command}

Note: In development, replace .\steam-inventory-cli.exe with bun start or bun dev.

• inventory

  Shows the amount of items in your inventory and their market/sell pricing, limited to ITEMS_TO_SELL (from config.ts).

Steps

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone git@github.com:LucHermkens/steam-inventory-cli.git
   cd steam-inventory-cli

2. Copy .env.example to .env and populate it with the appropriate values:

   cp .env.example .env

3. Install the project dependencies:

   bun install
