This should absolutely happen at some point. However I'll need to do some more testing for that.
This is a mistake on my part. I'll publish 15.8.1 later to fix this. |

I've tried it for our build and it builds just fine on a trixie initvm. It also solves the issue that elbe is not released as 15.8 for bookworm but as 15.8rc1 which causes a mismatch on trixie hosts.
