- Source OMIM data from OMIM's genemap2.txt file where it has inheritance data.
- Store inheritance data in a separate column in diseases table in LOVD.
- Store inheritance data in abbreviated forms.
- The list that maps inheritance models full name to its abbreviated forms is sourced from all unique inheritance models in genemap2.txt file. We then, go to OMIM website to find the abbreviated form of each of the inheritance models.
- Include inheritance model in the disease name.
