The shared workspace path needs to include the name of the workspace
This comment explains the intent why we are not checking if it is a workspace here. For example before anything was shared this might only contain the metadata folder and that is all we need.

Stored shared_folder will likely point to a parent directory within which there are multiple workspaces. This adds a check to append the current workspace name to the stored shared_folder so that metadata files can be correctly found.
