“Mod” refers to the software, including compiled files, assets, and source code, known as “PlaceMe”, created by Janko, except where identified as third-party content.
“Author” refers to Janko.
“Third-Party Assets” refers to models, textures, sound files, or other assets not owned by the Author and instead owned by their respective creators, as identified in the file metadata, headers, or accompanying documentation.
“Platforms” refers to the official locations where the Author has uploaded or published the Mod.
“You” refers to any person or entity who downloads, installs, or uses the Mod.
You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide licence to:
- Use the Mod for personal or commercial purposes, including as part of a modpack or on a monetised server.
- Modify the Mod for personal/private use only (modifications may not be shared or distributed).
- Distribute the original, unmodified version of the Mod only on the Platforms listed above.
Third-Party Assets are included strictly for use within the Mod.
You may not extract, reuse, repurpose, or redistribute third-party assets outside the Mod unless explicitly permitted by the respective asset owner.
You may not:
- Redistribute the Mod (original or modified) outside the Platforms listed above without written permission.
- Distribute or publish modified versions of the Mod or its source code.
- Sell or otherwise monetise the Mod itself.
- Claim ownership of the Mod or misrepresent its origin.
- Remove or alter copyright, licence, or credit notices.
- Extract, modify, reuse, or redistribute Third-Party Assets outside the Mod unless permitted by their owners.
You may include the Mod in monetised modpacks or game servers provided that:
- Revenue is derived from the modpack/server/service as a whole, not directly from this Mod.
- You provide clear credit to the Author.
- You link to the official Mod page on the original Platform.
- All Third-Party Asset attributions remain intact.
All intellectual property contained in the Mod belongs to:
- The Author, for all assets and code created by the Author;
- The respective third-party creators, for assets identified as Third-Party Assets.
No ownership rights are transferred under this licence.
This licence terminates automatically upon violation of any terms.
Upon termination, you must cease use and distribution of the Mod and delete all copies in your possession.
The Author may revoke this licence at any time.
The Mod is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
The Author is not liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Mod.
This Licence is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Author resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
By downloading, installing, or using the Mod, you agree to be bound by this licence and all its terms.
