Summary of Changes

Hello @kostyanf14, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request refactors the driver installation process by extracting the logic for generating driver path replacements into a new, dedicated method. The primary impact is that the install_machine_driver_package function now provides the actual driver installation paths within its JSON response, allowing external systems to retrieve this crucial information. This enhancement directly addresses the RHELMISC-19957 task. Additionally, the project's version number has been updated to 0.6.1 to reflect these changes.

Highlights

  • Refactoring Driver Path Logic: The logic for generating driver path replacements has been extracted into a new, dedicated method install_driver_replacement_list for improved modularity and reusability.
  • Exposing Driver Installation Path: The install_machine_driver_package function now returns the driver installation path details (driver directory and INF path) as part of its JSON output, fulfilling the requirement to provide this information programmatically.
  • Version Update: The project version has been incremented from 0.6.0 to 0.6.1 across lib/version.rb and tools/toolsHCK.ps1.

Code Review

This pull request refactors the driver installation command generation and updates the install_machine_driver_package method to return the driver installation path. The changes are logical and well-structured. I've found one area for improvement regarding the non-JSON output path, where the new driver information is currently discarded. My suggestion ensures this information is available in both JSON and non-JSON modes. The version numbers have also been correctly updated.
