We started building software for South Coast Energy in early 2020. We built Cloudflare Worker scripts to automate tasks.
MaX started building Falstein Tree and its various services for his family in 2023.
We are primarily focused on energy along the South Coast of England, United Kingdom. We may share more of our apps, development, docs, tools, research, etc. with like-minded charities, companies, groups, etc. Our internal community spans connecting families with self-hosted family tree platforms and add-ons.

Because this is a family project, contributing to the platform is strictly by invitation. The only people able to access the networks, servers and platforms are family members.
Now that we are talking about the important things βοΈ, are you contributing to open-source? Yes? Okay, you rock! πΈ If not, we and GitHub can help you get started! Open-source software is made by people just like you.

Most family tree companies are deeply into the locked-in and proprietary subscription model and provide very little past the first few days. These companies will not be our greatest supporters because they already dislike Gramps; this is the case of many revolution attempts in every sector. We contribute to the tools π§ we rely on to build and run Falstein Tree while maintaining π§ββοΈ our own open-source projects. We strive for greater openness in an already opportunistic industry.
Our open-source software documentation will always be open-source.
We privatise some of our infrastructure documentation; however, some of this will be generalised to provide open-source infrastructure case studies, documentation, infographics and statistics.
See what's next on our public roadmap β¨ Please, let us know if you have any suggestions πββοΈ We are always hiring talented, passionate people to join our team π
