I was initally wary of split or ergonomic keyboards as I thought they looked bad. However, while I was designing my own regular keyboard, I came across split ergo keyboards online that caught my eye, especially this one. I slowly came to appreciate the look and layout of Corne keyboards, so I decided to make one. This project was a test of my PCB and CAD design skills, as well as a test of my ability to learn new things (ergogen). Overall, I think this came out very well.
Note:
- Typeractive was sometimes cheaper than AliExpress, thus some parts were sourced from them instead.
- Keycaps will be 3D printed
