An Angular application that generates unique hover board names using Google's Gemini AI.

This project was generated using Angular CLI version 19.2.17.

Setup Gemini API Key

This application uses Google's Gemini AI to generate creative hover board names. You'll need to set up an API key before running the application.

Getting Your API Key

1. Visit Google AI Studio
2. Sign in with your Google account
3. Click "Get API Key" or "Create API Key"
4. Copy your API key

Configuring the API Key

1. Open src/app/gemini.service.ts
2. Replace the placeholder text with your actual API key:

this.genAI = new GoogleGenerativeAI("YOUR_API_KEY_HERE");

⚠️ Security Warning: Never commit your API key to version control. For production applications, use environment variables or a secure secrets management solution.

Development server

To start a local development server, run:

ng serve

Once the server is running, open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The application will automatically reload whenever you modify any of the source files.

Code scaffolding

Angular CLI includes powerful code scaffolding tools. To generate a new component, run:

ng generate component component-name

For a complete list of available schematics (such as components, directives, or pipes), run:

ng generate --help

Building

To build the project run:

ng build

This will compile your project and store the build artifacts in the dist/ directory. By default, the production build optimizes your application for performance and speed.

Running unit tests

To execute unit tests with the Karma test runner, use the following command:

ng test

Running end-to-end tests

For end-to-end (e2e) testing, run:

ng e2e

Angular CLI does not come with an end-to-end testing framework by default. You can choose one that suits your needs.
