Installation (v4.0)

Note

If you're updating from versions BEFORE v4.0, make sure to remove all old vBasic files and remove all convars from the server.cfg file because in v4.0 we're using new convars in a separate file.

Installation

  1. Download the latest version from the releases page.
  2. Open the zip file, and go into the vBasic folder where you find the __resource.lua.
  3. Copy all files from that folder, into /resources/vBasic/, you should end up with the __resource.lua being here: /resources/vBasic/__resource.lua.
  4. Go to the server.cfg, and add these two lines:
exec resources/vBasic/settings.cfg
start vBasic
  1. Now save the server.cfg file.
  2. Go to the settings.cfg file, and edit the options to fit your needs. Info about each option is provided in there, as well as the possible values you can use for each setting.
  3. Start your server.
